One has the trots... and I have an infection :( Winter isn't going as planned as I can see. As my partner is playing with my adorable dorkus of a dog... I am trying to not be nauseous from the medication I have been put on for the next seven days. So forgive me if my posts aren't very up and happy. As I am sitting here in a laundromat, I can't help but think of how much stuff I actually do on a day to day basis. That I might actually deserve a break every once and awhile instead of putting my days off as days to do everything. I'm just not used to actually helping myself and putting forth the effort to actually relax. Seems strange right? That's my life so far. Endless work (and barley enough hours to float and to not send myself to the hospital at the same time), countless amount of cleaning, chores, daily life, not seeming like a recluse to other people, and of course spending time with my partner and loving, darling baby Roxy. Hopefully I'll start falling into a system soon.

If there is one positive to this snow storm, it would have to be that somehow my stuff gets done. I am super productive and I just can't help but be so. Even if I don't want to be. The wins that I have today are just getting the dog some new bedding, finding out dates, seeing how expensive stuff is and of course returning things as well. The only thing I haven't achieved yet would be figuring out why my phone isn't working again.. probably has to do with the fact somehow it ended up smashed into my camper door as the wind was trying to take the door away.

Interestingly enough, camper life suits me 100%. The only thing that really sucks about it is that winterization is annoying. Other than that I'm excited to get on with my journey in March! For now though I'm grounded here in South Dakota until the winter is over, just in case! Traveling isn't the wisest in the winter. So hopefully it won't be another eight month long winter, I might actually murder the weather then. Other than that, I am catching up considering I have been without decent internet for a bit, that and setting up this Camper. Thank goodness for permanent solutions finally!

Also! Last but not least, since the entire Flickr fiasco.. On this snowy, insomnia-ridden morning... I bring my readers something I have been trying to put together for a few days now. Some won't agree with putting such girlyness with punk looks, but I think it's a nice contrast. I'm only awake because both the dog and the boyfriend (as much as I love them both) are snoring to high heaven... I just can't sleep anymore. Am I going to regret this for DND today? Probably. With a job change and of course a day off... (which my puppy has torn up the place, what a naughty twat!!) I am able to relax a bit while completely cleaning up the place from... guess it... eggs. Today is my first day of my new job! Of course I have a high anxiety for first day jitters. That seems to never leave me alone no matter how many jobs I seem to get. I know I will do well, just new situations always get me nervous and I always ALWAYS over-complicate things. In other fun news... I am planning a trip to the Black Hills in a couple of months! So I am also doing the financials on that and planning of sorts. I can't wait to go camping and see more of the state that I grew up in, people have the tendency to not actually explore the place that they live in.. which is super sad! Out here, there is so much to actually see when you get to the west part of the state. It's just a shame to not see it when I can actually retain the memories. I've gone to see Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument before, but I was just a child then. I only have brief moments that I can actually recall from that trip.

It has now come to me taking a super hot bath every day to control how my foot feels. Due to the nature of my work and the fact that a doctors note won't ever do me any good, I am stuck with the almost unbearable pain in my foot. That makes it hard to say yes to more hours when it is offered (and the fact that I need it)and makes me feel horrible and stressed out in the process. Hopefully one day I can find a way to deal with this or get it taken care of, but in the mean time I will just have to warm up a bath and keep at it. The power of positivity is a powerful one, the only issue with it is, you have to believe it. It's hard to train the brain to be positive from whence it was negative/pragmatic. Honestly though, at this point in my life. What do I have left to lose? I might as well get a head start and start blindly trying. The only sad thing about this is that trying isn't simply enough. You have to do.

On the first day of my relaxation for my days off I am thinking about cleaning of all things. Yep, I'm pretty sure that I am becoming OCD.
