Ah, just as my life finally gets normal... then something happens again. Turns out that I am having to move in a couple of days... to a new state! Wyoming here I come... temporarily that is.. So the net might be questionable up there but no worries.. I'll be pushing through it with some more blog posts! Just give me a few days to get all setup again and I will be back to normal. Not gonna lie, this is a pretty odd post. I put two things that normally wouldn't go with each other and married them! Lol. Yeah I'm odd like that. I have this mix mashed style of country that I enjoy to listen to. It's the old sounding lyrics mixed with new ideas and more open to new ideals. My hurricane Harvey escape in Dallas is starting to near an end finally. While I am enjoying staying in Dallas and exploring the city with the City Pass.... I am itching to go home! The hotel we have been staying at has a wonderful view of the city and my favorite place to sit in the room is in this comfy chair watching everything happen in the city. Nothing beats seeing how the city is lit up at night though.... coming from a small place I don't ever get to see this. It was great to feel like I actually lived here for a short time. Just wish me luck as we try to get back to Houston.... I-45 might not be as welcoming as we hoped.

I am going to miss lounging on the beach and relaxing as the colder weather moves in and creates one of my favorite things which is snow! Unfortunately hurricane Harvey is forcing me out of my home today so my readers might have to go without hearing from me for the weekend! Well it's already back to school where I live! Even college is open and bustling around. I have to say I really do miss getting brand new textbooks....starting to have anxiety about what things I am going to learn and how I am going to pace myself at learning them while getting the best grade possible. I was literally built to learn. It's almost agony to not be in school at all. I am happy to say though, that I have received my diploma after four years of working and going to school and that I am so happy to have it. If that isn't persistence... then God knows what is.

I love the shadow of a palm tree in a picture... so I was happy to actually capture that for once!
