The Rosy Side of Things

As I am typing, my boyfriend and dog are playing on the bed and he's going back and forth while the dog is trying to get him. It is VERY noisy and adorable at the same time. My dog is about a year and a half old and she has an adolescent laugh still! It's so cute. We also found out that she is afraid of puppies and kittens! It's adorably sad. We have to find a way to show her not to be afraid of them.

As the rain is coming down today I am reminded how much I really do love the rain. That's right! After about a decent week I am back from moving (well it still feels like I am moving in... all these freaking boxes!!) and I have some goodies to show my readers and catch y'all up on! My hurricane Harvey escape in Dallas is starting to near an end finally. While I am enjoying staying in Dallas and exploring the city with the City Pass.... I am itching to go home! The hotel we have been staying at has a wonderful view of the city and my favorite place to sit in the room is in this comfy chair watching everything happen in the city. Nothing beats seeing how the city is lit up at night though.... coming from a small place I don't ever get to see this. It was great to feel like I actually lived here for a short time. Just wish me luck as we try to get back to Houston.... I-45 might not be as welcoming as we hoped.
