Happy Fourth to all my Americans! Since I am a strong believer in this holiday weekend being about everyone being happy... I have to do my little 'infomercial'. Ahem. Please take the time this holiday weekend to be careful with ALL fireworks. Not just the ones that go up in the sky and spin around crazy-like. Always supervise children with fireworks, after all we are talking about setting things aflame here. Last but not least, we are celebrating our independence. When I showed up for work today, I heard Rob Zombie blaring out of the garage speakers (I work at a mechanics shop) and I just couldn't help but sing along. In my SL career I have hosted/DJ'd at many a rock club. One could say that I am fairly up to date with all of the new rock albums and classics. Plus, I just can't get them out of my head, which I think is a good thing! I am proud to announce that this is my first blog post on the new blog format! YAY! I hope my readers enjoy this, I purposely wanted the slideshow to keep my readers up to date on what was important and if there are any hunts going on. Alright, today's post is mostly just some shopping that my sissy Kelpie told me to do. Alas, she pointed me to the Thrift Shop which will be open until the 27th! That is where I discovered the wonderful world of NS clothing! Not only is it kawaii, but I just like the freshness and the outfit isn't as slutty as most items you find now at stores. Turns out, I have yet another kidney stone (this is the reason this post didn't come out yesterday). If my readers haven't had a kidney stone before, it is basically a stone like substance that builds in your kidneys, then travels through the urethra (while tearing it up, hence the agonizing pain), until it comes out; or sometimes you have to have it surgically removed. Needless to say, this one is better than the last one I had (the day of my 18th birthday I was in the ER with my mother with a 4.4mm kidney stone). Thank God for medication that makes me feel no pain! Anyways... Lamu Fashion has been inspired from the recent movie The Expendables (which is quite a good movie, I'd recommend it), and created her own version of the outfits for male and female! Which means... I got to bribe my sweetheart into letting me use his account for a day! <3 My sweetheart and I are wearing the same clothing so I decided not to write his items down (most of his things are from 05 and not in world anymore), but have no fear, I see me dressing him up in the future! More brand new things I haven't shared today! Yay :D I got this outfit from the OMG! Room, haven't heard of it? Neither had I before my friend Kelpie showed me their blog! Unlike most people, I use my AO most of the time for modeling so that isn't a problem if everyone else has it. It is just too pretty to pass up!
