The Rosy Side of Things

This song that I picked for today's post was a fun one! I hope this song is going to be used in schools! That would be ever so helpful to others, since now most teenagers use music to communicate with anyways. The outfit today is sponsored by Lamu! Once again Lamu has put out another fantastic design! On the way back from Corpus Christi my darling and I had to listen to local radio because his phone was dead and needed to charge. This way, I couldn't plug in my Ipod for music that we both would enjoy. Instead, we listened to some of the new music (which most we didn't like) but one of the newest songs I heard was Come Get It Bae. After watching the music video and really listening to the lyrics, I finally fell in love with the song! Who's ready for some fun 50's looking outfits? ME! Not only today do I get an outfit to compliment my avatars favorite style, but I have redone my entire blog! Yes! Now I have everything more accessible for everyone! I will have my day to day wear in a tab so that way, (since I don't blog it because it would be like beating a dead horse) if y'all think my skin is awesome you will know where it came from! This new format for my blog will be easier to navigate and also more user friendly! My tabs will be updated and not so boring as well! Now, onto the fashion! I have some more goodies from The Resurrection Gacha Fair Round 1, MOoH!, and of course the Hair Fair 2014! First, this headdress from the Resurrection Fair is not only regal, but incredibly eye catching (in a good way). For this outfit, I was trying to find something to flair it up some, but this definitely did the job for me! Secondly, this dress is made by MOoH! I might have gone off my rocker a tad for this post LOL. I was accepted to blog the Resurrection Gacha and picked out an item to match with my MOoH! dress. What I wasn't expecting was ending up looking like Ms. Second Life (which I imagine exists but I've never heard news of it). Due to clever names and Kelpie and I laughing about it, this blog post is about how I could have been Ms. Second Life, but most likely in my SL dreams. 'I got into the Hair Fair!' Hehe. Omgah did that take forever to rezz and get ready for! This my first blog featuring the Hair Fair! Let me tell you guys who haven't been there yet, there is about five sims that you get to go to, and a ton of mesh items (which takes forever to rezz period). Tip for that event, please for the love of all things holy... join the hair group! That way you can try on the hairs BEFORE and not in the sim where there are people fighting to sim cross and tp in. It is truly infuriating seeing the afk'ers or people trying on hair during the event. Anyways, besides my rant... the Hair Fair 2014 does have a cause! This way, you can justify your shopping habit! Each vendor has a certain percentage set for giving back to Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids is a legitimate cause for children that desire a wig for a multitude of health reasons. This cause touches my heart because at one point in my life (while I was in the hospital routine) I almost lost all of my hair and was offered a charity wig (which was actually very pretty) that was made up of real hair. I will have links below regarding the Hair Fair! Today I am featuring an outfit from Cheeky Chibi Creations! Now, many of you might not know... but I LOVE pandas (among the many cute animals that I love that are usually viciously temperamental)! This outfit is going to be 25L for a limited amount of time then it will go back to 80L! Last but not least, the song for today (is explicit but gets the message across that way) is one about society's standards of 'cool'. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but when I do like rap, I really get attached to it. Please give this song a chance! Hopsin is awesome and brings out points that most rappers don't.

Today I tried some therapeutic yoga for the first time in my life. It took me a handful of minutes, but I finally relaxed and got into it. Now I have boundless energy and feel like laughing a lot.  This hair that my sissy Kelpie gave me (she gave me leftover Lindens to go shopping, talk about feeding an addiction!) is so cool! I have to say, I felt like a movie star doing this blog post, mostly because of the hair.
