I have found that the comfort of animals is one that I prefer to actual people sometimes. I remember a time when I was in high school that a friend of mine in my varsity orchestra let me come to her stables out of the city. I got to ride horses and relax from the problems that were going on at home. There is nothing more calming then bonding with a horse, grooming them, riding them and of course comforting. In the meantime I find comfort in music which might seem depressing to others, but helps me clear my mind.
